New Image Art Gallery presents, “Perfect Day,” a solo exhibition premiering paper cut-outs by Portland-based artist, Nathan McKee.

Paradise comes in many forms, for graphic designer Nathan Mckee the perfect day consists surfing, skating and playing basketball. This exhibition highlights pleasure within West Coast sport through crafts and design. McKee takes classic images of legendary basket ball athletes, waves filled with surfers, iconic skateboarders and brings them to life through his intricate and dynamic paperwork.

The opening reception for the artists will be held on Sat, July 21st from 7-10 pm in the main gallery at New Image Art.

Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 1-6pm or by appointment.
