EMMA KOHLMANN - WESTERN MASSACHUSETTES
Emma Kohlmann is a figurative artist from New York City and is currently based in Western Massachusetts. She creates a large number of colorful abstract shapes which are transformed into stylized images. Her body of work consists of hundreds of variations of animals, nudes, and fauna. Kohlmann’s jewel toned water colors are often formatted in a grid forming a vibrant installation. Kohlmann publishes her own artist books and other ephemera such as records, and zines.
