POSTER RENAISSANCE July 8 - August 19, 2000. Artist reception on July 8th, 7-10PM.

This show concentrates on a powerful movement of poster making among current artists. Many of these artists poster cities and towns nationally and internationally. As graffiti has become a felony crime with three strikes you're out (in California) postering has fit into a loophole. Thus artists can push ideas and art on a public whether the public likes it or not.
