Dime Bag

Dime Bag, the latest in a series of exhibitions curated by Jordin Isip and Rodger Stevens, is a group show involving nearly one hundred artists from New York, California, and elsewhere, representing a diverse array of artistic disciplines including sculpture, painting, photography, graphic design, illustration and graffiti. The show is essentially comprised of two installations: one wall hung with several dozen 3" x 3" clear, ziploc-style, plastic bags; and another hung with 5" x 7" plastic bags. Each invited artist was sent one of these baggies and asked to create a piece to be contained within it. This charge was answered with an extraordinary range of work, creating an exhibition of premium grade visual product.
