Creature Comforts
October 6 - November 10, 2001.
Opening reception October 6, 2001 7-10pm.
Creature Comforts will feature murals, posters, skateboards, and paintings in an installation by Philadelphia's Space 1026 artists Ben Woodward and Jim Houser. Paintings and animation by Clare Roja also of Space 1026. Comic book influenced and illustrative figurative paintings by J.W. King, Christine Shields and magical landscapes by Scott Hewicker all of San Francisco. Paintings by skateboarder / animator Los Angeles artist Lori D. will also be featured. The art of Creature Creature Comforts is a whimsical yet powerful group show featuring creatures and their evironments sure to enlighten and inspire.
